Bushra Ansari is a Pakistani actress, comedian, singer, model, producer and writer. In 1989, she was awarded a Pride of Performance, and won a Lux Style Award in 2011. Born Bushra Bashir on May 15, 1956 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, to parents Mehmooda Begum and Ahmad Bashir, her siblings are Asma, Sumbul, Humayun and Neelam. She began her career in the 1960s as a child performer. Bushra earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Viqar Un Nisa College For Women. She is married to Iqbal Ansari, with whom she has two daughters.
She married Iqbal Ansari in 1978 and has two children. Her father was Pakistani writer Ahmad Bashir.
She appeared alongside Danish Taimoor on the show Jab We Wed.
