Greta Van Susteren – Greta van Susteren, the 67 years old news anchor, recently says that she underwent minor modification on her face. She has plastic surgery in 2002 to remove the bags around her eyes in a procedure called blepharoplasty.

Biography

After getting the procedure of blepharoplasty or eye-lift, Greta now looks more beautiful and it seems people show some supports after her surgery, meaning to say they approve of her current appearance.

Born on June 11, 1954 in Appleton, Wisconsin, Greta is famous as a news anchor and commentator on numerous television shows. This internationally famous figure says she does not like the black bags under her eyes since long time ago.

Eyelid Surgery

One day, after consulting her husband, decides to remove them. “I was sitting with my husband and I look in the mirror and I thought — ‘Oh My God!,'” she shares. She also said that her husband agree, “Whatever you want. I love you this way, and I love you that way.” 

Visiting a surgeon in Washington D.C. with her husband to discuss about the procedures, Greta agrees to undergo a minor modification on her eyelid. “You have to realize this was not a huge decision, not like choosing a law school,” she told to People.

Her procedure is a conservative one as it does not involve Botox which is usually used in plastic surgery to give youthful look to the skin. If she gets Botox, it will smooth out the wrinkles on her face and she will look younger.

However, it is because only minor modification is performed to her face without facial fillers such as Botox that Greta’s plastic surgery is far from giving horrible appearances like what is experienced by other celebrities. In other words, the modification of eyelids performed to her is successful and now she enjoys the benefits of the enhancement of her beauty.

Greta admited she had plastic surgery before her first appearance at Fox News. In exclusive interview with ABC News she told “What I’m told is that I’m the first in the news business that’s talking about it. But it wasn’t like an admission of a crime to me, it was like — well, here it is.”

According to Fox News Greta wants to change her face before reunion. “My only hope is that the swelling is gone before my 30th high school reunion this summer.” She added “As I’m sure you all understand out there, I’m hoping to make jealous all those guys who wouldn’t date me in high school.”

Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says that Greta’s plastic surgery seems to give an optimal result because she can keep her natural look and the surgery does not have any odd-looking traces on her face. Many people give comment on her new look that now she seems to be more refreshed and it brings fortune to her job.

The plastic surgery is rumored to help Greta boosting her career. Previously, it seems Greta never cares much about her appearance and this sudden change give a delightful surprise to her fans.
